CRAZY FOR WARHAMMER（WAR/WAR GOLD）
I’ve always come into some games like WARHAMMER（WAR/WAR GOLD） or another since I observed computers. Before the days of surfing the internet, I used to manage a BBS which supported many games like WARHAMMER（WAR/WAR GOLD）that I liked to play, as well as record into other BBS’s and played games there. It is really a good memory, and I always remember it.
Up until my latest, (and last), mate, none of my eventful-others have ever been able to see what it was all about. Yes, the games have always been played by us, but it can’t mean anything, those people couldn’t let me hold any interests. One thing I should say that my current wife still couldn’t get it either, but she try to watch, study and even beta test with me in EQ2 and WARHAMMER（WAR/WAR GOLD）.
Although she didn’t know about DAoC too much, she try it strive. She lost at last because of lacking of questing. She didn’t see the point in killing things over and over again for no other cause but to obtain another level. And since I couldn’t let her beyond that, she never understands the pleasures of RvR.
Then Wow came along, and she immersed in that game like a crazy fan. She could only play with me at first. Now it’s hard to make sure her time to help me or others with a quest! Doubtless, she is more hook than me now.
Now, we’re both expecting to WARHAMMER（WAR/WAR GOLD）. We got our pre-orders in, and just watched the boards and newsletters with great prospect. My wife’s adult son will play with us as well as my teen-age son, who hasn’t played an MMO yet, but watched us play WARHAMMER（WAR/WAR GOLD） and really wants to play too. (We’re awaiting WAR to let him play).
Now, like many other players, we’re both 40-somethings, we work from Monday to Friday and we have rest on Saturday and Sunday. Many people who don’t realize ask why we pay 15.00US/month to play a game. Our answer is that if we weren’t doing this, we’d just be watching T.V. Sure, we do other things on weekends. But usually, after work, dinner, a few hours of playing is funny. And playing with family is even funnier. Try to think about it, on a Saturday evening, the whole family sits in the sitting room, play games with light, warm and peace. What a comfortable weekend it is!
